Ultra White Collar Boxing

SFL were contacted by Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) Founder & Director Jon Leonard to come on board and support UWCB with the technical aspects of their incredible charity boxing shows.

UWCB is a charity set up by Jon who deliver 8 weeks of free training to members of the public who are willing and able, they then compete in a fundraising evening of well-matched and extremely exciting boxing matches, each evening has a minimum or 20-30 fights. With the aim to raise as much money as possible towards Cancer Research UK, UWCB has so far raised an astounding £4.5million!! and SFL are proud to have been able to support some of this fundraising through the events we have worked on in 2015 & 2016.

SFL were asked to provide a complete staging, trussing lighting & audio solution for the live shows, where of course budget is of importance but keeping the desire to give the 500-1000 spectators a live show they won’t want to forget, keenly watching their loved ones fight their way around the red & blue cornered rings.

For the shows, SFL’s Lighting solution comes from our stock of Robe Pointe’s, Chauvet Colordado & Avolite Tiger Touch II Consoles, making sure we are using the most up to date technology to wow the crowds who so generously empty their pockets to donate to a fantastic cause. The Audio solution, utilises SFL’s vast d&b Audiotechnik speaker systems, controlled and mixed via Yamaha QL series consoles, with playback coming from our Pioneer DJ equipment.

Part and parcel of any SFL event is our fantastic staff and team that support these events, Jon & Liam had this to say about SFL’s involvement with UWCB, We have used SFL as the AV provider for our events multiple times, and each time the service provided has exceeded our expectations. 

All of the staff have been consistently helpful and easy to deal with in the weeks leading up to the events. Because of the quality of support from the staff, the assistance offered and most importantly the service provided at the shows, we will continue to be using SFL to help make our events like no other experience.
