SFL bring the party alive with SPEAR

 

Through their long standing relationship with SPEAR SFL were asked to help bring alive a stunning 1940s’ party set in the beautiful venue of St Pauls Hammersmith. Having worked on previous SPEAR course events, SFL were once again asked to provide a total production solution package. The whole solution was designed by production manager Matt Sales, who with the team delivered projection, lighting, audio and pyrotechnics.

At the centre of the spectacular event were 40 5ft wide helium balloons for each dining table, each of which were used as a projection surface. To achieve this SFL used a Green Hippo GrassHopper at the heart of the system with two Barco HDX-Flex outputting 18,000 lumens each. With each balloon mapped as a different area to deliver the content loaded into the system.

SFL supplemented the installed audio system with Shure UHF-R handheld and DPA headset radio microphones and L-Acoustics 12xt loudspeakers.

Entertainment was provided by patron of the charity Miranda Hart with special guest Michael Mcintyre and Britains Got Talent winners Spellbound.

To add to the drama and ambience, SFL provided Robe Pointe lights as search lights and Chauvet Colorado LED battens throughout the room all controlled from an Avolites Pearl Tiger touch.
